Dominique Heilborn was born in Sainte Lucie de Porto Vecchio (Corsica), France in 1982. He graduated at the University of Applied Science in Nürnberg at the Chair of Material Science and received his PhD from the University of Bayreuth, Chair of functional materials. Dominique has a strong record in the field of material science, microelectronics, packaging and exterior and interior lighting in design, development and production with companies like Continental Temic, Vosla and Novem Car Interior Design. Inside Novem he is in charge of the Light & Function team and leading the change from a trim part supplier to a system supplier including the full responsibility for electronics integration all along the product life cycle. Furthermore he is educated in lean six sigma methods (black belt) and strategical process management.
